As the percentage of online shopping increases, so does the amount of merchandise returned; managing your reverse logistics is key to keeping costs low and customers happy. ScanData offers several options for return labels to expand your customer service offerings, and we utilize our robust rate shopping engine to save you money. For our apparel retailers, ScanData has integrated pre-printed return labels with the shipping label and manifesting process. For those retailers with lower return rates, on-demand returns by the customer may be preferred.

ScanData provides the ability to create return labels when the shipping label is created or on-demand by the customer after receipt. For on-demand returns, we integrate with the retailer's OMS and eCommerce system to determine what the customer wants to return, why they want to return, how they want to return, and how much it will cost the customer. This information is then used to generate a label delivered to the customer via email, mobile, or PC.
During the return process, we can support Rate Shopping to find the least expensive option, and provide the same carrier-provided tracking capabilities we would for the original shipment.
